Irena Rashkin, Sales Consultant
Irena Rashkin is back. After a four year hiatus Rashkin has returned to RAB Motor's sales team. "I am very excited to be at RAB, because it is very family oriented," said Rashkin.
With her return to RAB comes an hour and a half commute each way from her Los Gatos home, in her new E Class Mercedes. Irena drives an Iridium Silver Metallic 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 with a beige leather interior, equipped with the Premium II and Sport packages among other options.
European born and bred, Rashkin brings an eclectic background to the workplace. She studied Physics, Math and Chemistry in her native Poland, and engineering in the U.S. at New York's Brooklyn College.
"I like cars. I like all mechanical things," confesses Rashkin who also describes herself as a people person. "I like the face to face connection with people. I connect easily with people. I know how to find common ground;" making selling cars the perfect career in her mind.
Rashkin entered the business upon returning from Hong Kong with her husband. It was her husband's who suggested that she get into the business because she was bored. "He thought I would last six months," said Rashkin. Twenty plus years later she is still selling cars.
Rashkin has been named the salesperson of the month and the salesperson of the year multiple times.
Rashkin, a Silicon Valley transplant has sold cars to executives in the Valley, including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Google, Yahoo, and Marvel Technologies VIPs, as well as former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during her tenure at Stanford. She purchased a black E320 Sedan Mercedes from Rashkin.
When asked, when will it be enough? Rashkin says, "I love what I do. I will do this as long as I possibly can.
